Yin / Yang - finding balance.
Today is the Vernal (Spring) Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the Autumnal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. This happens when the sun crosses the plane of the equator, making day and night equal in length.
Today we experience the yin and yang energy vibration as there is a balance between: day and night, light and darkness, male and female, white and black, etc. 'Equinox' is derived from Latin, meaning 'equal night'. We are also reminded to find balance in our own lives.
The point of the Northward Equinox , currently lies at 7º Pisces, according to Astronomy and Quantum Astrology. It is the point at which the sun's ecliptic intersects the celestial equator.
The Vernal Equinox can be viewed as a turning point. In the Northern Hemisphere this is a turning point from dark to light, and in the Southern Hemisphere from light to dark. The Southern Hemisphere does not experience the same severe winters as the northern hemisphere and thus we keep our celebrations the same as the northern hemisphere. That is: Easter, Eostara and Shivaratri. The main reason the celebrations stay the same, is because it is based on astronomical and astrological occurrences.
Easter, Eostara (Ostara) and Shivaratri are celebrated with the movement of the moon. Shivaratri is celebrated on the new moon before the Vernal Equinox. Easter, Pascha and Eostara are celebrated on the full moon after the Vernal Equinox, that is the Full Moon in Virgo (Holy Virgin). The colors are white and blue and the number is 3 (holy trinity).
The Northward Equinox is at 7º Pisces which shows that soon we will move into the Age of Aquarius - as the celestial movement is backwards. In Quantum Physics there is no backwards or forward, it all depends on the observer.
Sky picture taken this morning, 20 March 2013 from Johannesburg, South Africa. This picture shows the Sun is at 7º Pisces. (tropical astrology gives this point as 0º Aries and is therefore not regarded as a science by astronomers - as it is not observable or quantitatively valid).
