Wood (Trojan) Horse Predictions for 2014

In order to make a forecast for 2014, I will analyse its contributing factors:

2014 is the year of the Angel of Time, teaching us that time and moderation will bring about harmony and balance. We need to let go of old out-warn ideas and invent new and better ways of living in the future. Going 'green' and herbal remedies will be favored. Nature reservation will become more important.  New ideas, new inventions and new modes of transportation, especially aircraft will come to light. Discipline and communication will be important in establishing harmony and balance. Angel intervention and communication will increase.

Number 14
14 is a number of movement, combination of people and things, danger from natural forces such as storms, hurricanes, snow, severe weather, water, air or fire. This number is fortunate for dealings with money, speculation and changes in business. There is a strong element of risk attached to this number due to foolishness of others and taking wrong advice.  The number 14 warns one to be prudent, cautious and patient.

Tarot: Temperance: The Angel of Time
Temperance is ruled by: Archangel Michael, South, Fire (spiritual energy), Red, Triangle.
Positive Attributes: Moderation, self-restraint, blending, finding a balance.
Negative Attributes: overindulgence, sexual infidelity, obsession, refusal to compromise.
People from diverse cultures and races will intermingle bringing about a new generation and new establishments.  Variety will blend into a harmonious mixture. Moderation and wise managements are the keys to success. Wounds of the past are now able to heal because of the passage of time. This is the card of alchemists, cooks, spiritual healers and mediators. Extreme behavior will result in negative consequences. Finding a balance and practicing moderation are important to peace and happiness. Temperance is assigned to the zodiac sign Sagittarius, half-man, half-horse, that covers time and space. Physical and intellectual journeys are important as well as expanding the mind and exploring new horizons. Jupiter (luck-bringer) rules this sign and is assigned to the Wheel of Fortune Card. The combination of the two cards emphasize the need for finding a balance and remaining optimistic.

Sidereal Astrology
The Uranus-Pluto square continues to urge us to let go of old out-moded ways of being and to move on into new horizons. In April Jupiter and Mars will move into the middle of this tug-of-war to form a super-charged Grand Cross, demarcating the definite beginning of a new era. The North-Node of the Moon (Rahu) and Saturn continues to visit Libra. This teaches us to co-operate and to find a balance through discipline, order, moderation and negotiation. In July Rahu will move into Virgo with Ketu (south-node) joining Uranus in Pisces. The world will be forced to focus on and deal with the consequences of narcotics, alcohol and all forms of escapism. Health issues will come to the fore as well as being of service to others. This shift will also trigger the 'ring of fire' and we can expect earthquakes. We are entering an era of new and improved modes of travelling, especially with airplanes. Saturn remains in Libra's Archway until the end of 2014. This archway symbolizes the passage of time and passing from one dimension to another. Jupiter and Saturn will connect in a Trine, ensuring positive growth into a new era.

New Moon in Shaula: 1 January 2014
The year is named after the placement of the moon on the 1st of January and on the movement of Jupiter. Shaula is the marker star on the sting of the scorpion, that marks the beginning of the 19th moon mansion in Sagittarius. Shaula likes to get to the root of things by examining the past. This moon mansion is about destroying old outworn ideas and gaining success by moving forward into new horizons. The new moon conjuncts Pluto and Mercury emphasizing the need to let go of old worn out ideas and to welcome the new. This aspect highlights power struggles and the need to let go of tunnel vision and see the bigger picture. Venus in Nunki iterates the integration of values and making spiritual and material alliances work for the benefit of all. The Wood Horse requires patience, discipline and clear-thinking. Hard work and responsibility is required to be successful. It is fascinated by the unconventional and thrive on new inventions. The Wood Horse loves the outdoors, the country-side, horses and dogs. Your dogs will bring you luck this year.

Jupiter, the Grand Duke or Guru, visits the Horse (Unicorn) galaxy (mansion, palace) this year. That is Jupiter is sitting in Gemini. To appease Jupiter, place something yellow, eg yellow Jasper, in the South.

During 2014, it would be best not to sit facing South, Jupiter's position for the year. If you have to travel in that direction take extra care. Jupiter can be appeased by placing the following objects in the South-South-East direction:

Jupiter Talisman

Jupiter Mandala

Yellow Jasper

Marigolds
