May Full Moon of Enlightenment: Vesak

Full moon 10/5/17

This Full Moon falls in the Hindu month of Vesakha (gateway to the angels / dragon's gate) Vesak / Buddha - Enlightenment Moon. This is also the celestial palace of LOVE.

Vesak is the most important of the Buddhist festivals and is celebrated on the full moon in May (Vaisakha). It celebrates the Buddha's birthday, and, for some Buddhists, also marks his enlightenment and death.
Traditionally called Buddha Purnima, Purnima meaning the full moon day in Sanskrit.

Vesak is celebrated with much color and gaiety. Homes may be cleaned and decorated. In many countries during the festival, Buddhists will visit their local temple for services and teaching, and will give offerings to the monks of food, candles and flowers. Chanting and praying are an important part of Vesak. Decorate your home with flowers, incense, candles and lights. This is a day to remember to live a righteous and noble life, to practice loving-kindness and to bring peace and harmony to humanity.  'Bathing the Buddha' is a ceremony often included. Water is poured over the shoulders of the Buddha as a reminder to purify their own minds from greed, hatred and ignorance. Gifts are taken to an altar to be offered to the Buddha statues. This shows respect and gratitude to the Buddha for his life and teachings.

During the celebration of Vesak it is important to bring happiness to others. Help the poor, the unfortunate and aged people. Spend a great deal of this day on fasting and praying. Feed garden birds to feed your dreams.

Every Mansion
has its own energy. We can use this energy to our advantage and / or to warn us against taking certain actions.

This mansion is romantic, loving, kind and assertive. It is also about friendship, opportunities and increasing income and possessions. The Archway or gateway to angels and to love and marriage. A Powerful Prayer Day. Great Truths may reveal itself.

Warning: guard against: loss, theft, betrayal, abuse, venereal disease, poisoning, drowning, anguish, revenge and criminality in general. Vibrate to the positive energy of being lovingly assertive and draw those positive energies into your life.

Numbers: 16, 7.
Color Today: Emerald Green.

I aim to live magically, and invite you to join me on my journey as I explore and explain the universal energies so that we can move with the rhythm of nature for our ultimate benefit and gain. In my quest I track the daily movement and energy of the moon and the planets that influence earth. I put pictures of the moon's path and what it symbolizes for all to follow and enjoy.

Marker Star: Libra's South-Pan: Zubenelgenubi: Mansion number 16.
Star of Purpose: Vedic Astrology: Vishaka, Archway: 20° Libra to 3°20 Scorpio (sidereal).
Arabic Astrology: Azubene, the Horns of the Scorpio: 12°51' to 25°42' Libra (sidereal).

'If Music be the Food of Love, play on' - 12th Night - Shakespeare.

                                     0 Scorpio 02 (sidereal) 24 Scorpio 8 (tropical)

Symbol: Triumph Arch - The Archway between this world and the other side (life and death).
The Archway is also the wedding archway. The Libra Archway is also the reason why a kiss under an archway (doorway) is magical and seals love, and the reason why a marriage is only legal under a roof (archway).

Rules: Decorated Gateways, archways, potter-wheels, lions, gifts, balance and relationships. It also rules cotton fields and nipples.

Ruled by: Jupiter, Indra (the Powerful) and Agni (Fire God), Buddha.

Enhanced Energy Today: Love, balance, harmony, law, order and spirituality. Be courageous and follow your passion. Preparing a creative field to harvest the benefits within the proper time.

The two main stars of this constellation are:

1. Zubeneschamali, the north-pan of the Libra which means 'price received' (benevolent).

2. Zubenelgenubi, the south-pan of Libra (claw of the scorpion) which means 'price to be paid' (malevolent).

This describes the constant struggle between good (god) and evil (devil).

Light Energy: When the moon visits this Mansion it is a good time to be assertive.  When we are courageous and assertive it makes us powerful beyond measure.  It demands respect and builds strength of character.  It is a good time to get rid of all unwanted things.  Throw out all the old stuff and clothes that are no longer needed.  Put an end to bad habits and energy patterns that are no longer useful.   You may be called on to be the mediator between two parties who disagree.  You will have to take the scorpion by the claw, tell it as it is, address issues by the name and point out what is wrong and what is right.  Today is also a good day for legal and medical advice. It is time to step up to your life's purpose without delay, hesitation or compromise. If you don't know your purpose, follow your passion, it will lead you straight to your life's purpose. Today is also a good day for L O V E, romance, flowers, chocolates, champagne, sushi and whatever it takes to spoil yourself. A good day to buy merchandise for later profit.

Dark Energy: I see a bad moon rising: Double Trouble! Domestic violence, miscarriage of justice, psychotic killings! This is not a good day for travel and also warns us against violence, crime, disgrace, disease and poison.

Manifest Magic and Miracles: Work for justice, fairness, balance, harmony, courage, strength and to sort out differences between people. Do a love and romance spell and remember to include flowers, candles, champagne, chocolates, fragrance and rose quartz. Burn Camphor to form a protective smoke.

Magic in the Bible: Read out loud psalm 20 for justice; psalm 39 for courage to confront and sort out problems; psalm 91 for protection.

Zubenels: Best served as a Chinese Dish - 'Sweet and Sour'. They may appear sweet but if you cross them, you will discover the 'sour' side. They courageously fight for what they believe to be right. They are the mediators and balance keepers of the world. They can be aggressive in their approach. They always think about the repercussions of their actions or else are made to face it. They are not ones for long drawn out scenario's, but rather want to cut the crap and get to the point. They are calm, righteous, honest and believe in a Supreme Power and in Karma. They are the peacemakers, diplomats, negotiators, scientists, pilots, militants, attorneys, law- and book keepers of this world. They know how to make the scales (books) balance. They have the inner strength of a lion and people sense it about them. They are well respected. They need love and romance and people's approval, failing which they become bitter and resentful. They marry young and need a partner to maintain their inner balance. They need to look after their health. The Scorpion's claw can be used for love making or for destroying its prey. It does not let go until satisfied and they get confused as to which one of these acts they are busy with.. Blessed with good looks, gracefulness and eloquent speech. They are intuitive, patient, enduring valiant, victorious and winners. But on the dark side they can be mean, cruel, revengeful, unforgiving, jealous, miserly, violent, quarrelsome and make people's lives a living hell. Can judge others harshly and viciously destroy their enemy, yet be kind to them afterwards. They don't need to enforce either religion or law. Those around them just know, watch your step and pray! Check the placement of Zubenelgenubi in your birth chart to see which area of your life is influenced by it.
